Women's Ministries
Women in the Church (WIC)
WIC is an organization for women of any age to gather and study the Scriptures and to pray for one another. In an environment of confidentiality, women are encouraged to grow in Christ and in their fellowship with one another.
All women who become members of Cliffwood Presbyterian Church are assigned to one of WIC circles These circles usually meet once a month for Bible study, fellowship and a business meeting to discuss the specific ministries supported by WIC. If you would like to find out more information or to find out when your group meets, please contact our church office 706-798-2691 or cliffwoodpca@bellsouth.net.
Foundation The authority of God's Word and the theological standards of the Presbyterian Church in America. Oversight The General Assembly has assigned the Women in the Church ministry to the Committee on Christian Education and Publications. Strategy Discipling God's Covenant People is Cliffwood’s Christian Education' vision. The Women in the Church's ministry portion is to encourage and equip women to think biblically and live covenantally. We accomplish this through various resources and training and particularly through a resource called Biblical Foundations for Womanhood. Purpose That every woman in the church know Christ personally and be committed to extending His Kingdom in her life, home, church, community, and throughout the world.
